Alan, the founder of Kershaw & Associates, has over twenty five years experience in tax preparation.  He specializes in trusts, estates, and tax planning, as well as optimizing the tax benefits for individuals and small businesses.

Alan has also been active in tax issues involving the alpaca industry in the Pacific Northwest since 1992 and provides professional tax advice to a number of alpaca owners.

Jane has been a tax accountant for over twenty years.  She specializes in filing prior year returns and setting up payment plans and offers in compromise with the Internal Revenue Service.  She has developed an extensive network of contacts with both the IRS and the Oregon Dept of Revenue. She has built an impressive record of positive results while representing clients during audits, offers in compromise and payment plans.  Jane also specializes in small business start-ups and non-profit status applications.

Kevin has been with the firm since 1984 and is a Licensed Tax Consultant as well as the firm's electronic Network Manager. Kevin specializes in on-site business trouble-shooting and enjoys tax projections and business consulting.

Matt is an Enrolled Agent and Licensed Tax Consultant and has been with the firm since early 2000. When not preparing individual and business tax returns, he helps clients with tax planning issues, computer applications, general accounting, and QuickBooks procedures.

Rachel has been with the firm since the 2003 filing season and is a Licensed Tax Preparer. She focuses on personal income tax preparation as well as general office support.

Cindy has been with the firm since 1997. She is the front office professional who understands the importance of customer service and coordination. She facilitates scheduling, keeps us organized and tracks client status. Cindy provides administrative and clerical support for the company.
